I used to get my kids jansports from target every year like clock work. I chose jansport because they seem to hold up the best under school year duress. The zippers are pretty strong, as well as the outer material . I went to target only to find they stopped carrying jansports , and had a plethora of cheap gimmicky back packs, no thanks ! I found my jansports here on Amazon !Have had the backpack for a few months so far and from what I have used it for (day to day school life) it’s everything I need. Has on big compartment for all the books and larger items then a smaller compartment for all the small items. In the smaller compartment there are three pockets for items. On larger than two for pens or pencils. All and all it’s a great backpack and would be my first choice if I ever need a new one.This is a sturdy material with lots of room, only drawback is there are no side pockets for water bottles and with many schools requiring bottles but no where to put it we have to make sure it doesn't leak inside the bag.High quality 'lil backpack! BUT BUY WITH AWARENESS, THAT THIS IS A -kind of- "KID SIZED" BACKPACK!Smaller than I expected.. Fully my fault!!, I did not closely examine all descriptions of this very high quality backpack. Not 'small small'. but certainly not full grown man sized...That being said,JANSPORT IS A VERY GOOD BRAND!A quality, no frills backpack. great value for the price. Plenty spacious. The one downside is the lack of rigidity in the bag; I cut some stuff cardboard panels to fit in the bottom and back of the bag, which helps a lot.I would have given a 5. When I ordered it description said it had a side pocket. I wanted the Galaxy look and the side pocket. When I received it it didn't have a side pocket which is why I bought this one. The description needs to be changed so other people know exactly what they're buyingSuch a nice backpack! It’s worth the money ?I bought this for my daughter in high school!She picked it out ! She was looking for a sturdy , reliable, and a nice looking backpack! For me at a Great Price too .I got totally ripped off. I didn’t get a jansport backpack they gave me a cheap Chinese rip off. The logo on the front says “running tiger” really pissed off. DO NOT BUY THIS.They might seem quite expensive for a pretty basic rucksack but they are definitely worth the money.Bought this to replace a 13 year old Superbreak which I've used for everything from travelling to gym to shopping for years. The old one is still perfectly usable but the straps are wearing a bit. This one is exactly the same quality (the only difference is my old model has tags on both main compartment zips). I look forward to getting the same length of service from this one.Not product listed. “Running Tiger” brand is NOT the same as “Jansport”. If your looking for a backpack that will break in a few months then I’d purchase this. The quality is awful and a label is sewn onto the backpack that says “running tiger” when contacting the seller they explain they have Jansport backpacks but someone in their office made a mistake and sent these. very hard to believe. Do not purchase this product.My 7 year old loves his new school bag.Perfect size for little humans with enough space inside for their school work, dictionary, pencil case and whatever else you need to put in.The padded straps are perfect and comfortable.Jansport bags are flawless.The zip keeps getting caught on the collar and the material is weak which took me an effort to undo, now the zips have broken somewhat. Saying that, I have held a lot of stuff in the bag and it managed so perhaps it's stronger than it seems. For the price, you would expect something of better material and build however.
