They are very durable and quality is very nice. The design makes it so convenient in putting paper(s) in and removing them since it is not sealed all the way up the sides. I use them with workbook pages like a "wipe clean" to practice penmanship.It’s nice that it opens up a lot to put paper in easily. But the plastic part looks dirty and smudgy.Work wonderful. Students really like them. Are sturdy and easy to use.While this product on it's own is probably 4-star in terms of quality, by comparison it's only a 3-star. I had previously ordered a different set of dry erase pockets (25 for $28 as compared to 10 for $26 here) and found they worked just fine.This set is better in some ways because it has a place to personalize per student AND they have a wider opening flap for less annoying insertion and removal of the paper. I see these as being better used in a general class setting. For me, I need to have sets of erasables ready to go across six grades throughout the day and I like have color differentiation for easy identification.I thought the erasable surface on this set came quite marked and scratched (uniformly so in a way that would indicate a production issue) compared to the others I have. That said, they ALL get scratchy in the end.Overall, 4-star quality, 3-star valueThese are a nice product to have around for check in lists that get regular use, or perhaps a display item where a part of the information gets changed daily. That said, while they are nice in concept, they are SO much heavier duty than I imagined that they cross the line over to unattractive and very utilitarian. I would prefer a much lighter duty version of this product -- while it might have a shorter life over time, it would still be useful but not be so "HEAVY-DUTY" looking.These are cloth with some thicker plastic windows on them (and they open up from the top), They are 9"x13" which is large enough for a letter sized sheet (with a few inches left over). These are nice for our kids for school work practice, they can throw a piece of paper in, write on it with a marker and then erase it. I wish they had a bit more structure, or a bit more solid so you could use them without additional support, but still nice (and you get a boatload of them).We homeschool and when I saw this I needed to try it. I found there are many more things you can use them for.+ Stitching seems good, that the material will not unravel anytime soon.+ Durable plastic for writing on+ Clear enough to see whatever paper you want to show through and still be easy to read+ Write easily with a dry erase+ The dry erase, wipes off easily..NOTE: I have not tried leaving dry erase markings on it for a week or longer and then coming back to see if the sleeve is permanently stained or not.+ Magnetic clasp. Even small kids can open this without any trouble, but the double clasp (one on the left and one on the right side) does help keep the papers in.+ The sleeve is not slit all the way to the bottom. So papers SHOULD not be falling out all over the place. This acts like a file folder in many ways.SOME USES:+ We use them for our huge board game collection to do math or write secret messages to other players+ Can use this...if you wanted...to insert wide lined writing paper, and let kids practice their letters.+ You could use this with a printed recipe and make your dry erase notes "on" the printed recipe while cooking, then see if you are good with the changes, transfer with ballpoint pen to the actual paper afterward.+ You could insert a piece of cardboard cut from a box, then a white piece of paper to have a make-shift whiteboard to help you on any of thousands of projects from home repair, gardening, writing and displaying diagrams on a Skype or video call, etc. Wherever you could use a whiteboard, you could use this.Love it!Makes it easy to reuse paper and just passing notes that the kids can't miss. We use them for the kids choir charts. Before it was printing a choir chart every week. Now we just erase and continue. Only 4 stars because they they are oversized for a sheet of letter paper to it can move a bit throwing alignment off. Also, for what they are, they seem a bit over priced.
